This is my 1770's dress which you probably have seen before, now I just got new pictures of it. It's actually a robe à l'anglaise with skirt looped up in polonaise style at the back. Under the dress there's a shift, stays and a false rump. The sleeve ruffles are detachable. I'm so glad the new petticoat goes so nicely with this dress, much better than the old one.
