This is my new gown in light blue taffeta that I managed to pull together in just couple of days for an 18th century Christmas ball last weekend. It might look a bit familiar to some of you since the dress used to look different before - but, as I was quite unsatisfied with the former one, I renewed it once again.
The pattern is drafted by me with a little help from the book "The cut of women's clothes 1600-1930" by Norah Waugh
Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to sew a new petticoat like I had planned so this petticoat is from the last costume I made. It doesn't go perfectly with the dress because it's longer than the the planned one that was supposed to reveal a bit of ankle (*giggle*) Well, maybe I'll make another one one day, we'll have to see!
Do not use, my costume photos are NOT stock photos. Thank you!
O_O You mention that this is for sale? Would you be able to say for how much? Iv been looking for something similar for a shoot for what feels like decades >_<
